Multi-User Access - Invite Members to manage filing on behalf of you

Will other members of your small business or nonprofit organization need access to your TaxBandits account? Whether to manage your account or e-file W2 tax returns, you can give specific users access to the account with our Multi-User Feature!

The Multi-User feature grants account access to members of your team giving them the ability to login to the account to edit, update, or manage your W-2 forms on behalf of you.

How do I add additional users to my account?

The process of adding an additional user to your TaxBandits account is simple.

Login to your account and from your “Settings” you can choose to add additional account users. From there, you will need to enter the basic information regarding the additional user you would like to add. Once they have been added, this user will receive an email from TaxBandits containing an auto-generated password which they will use to access the account for the first time. This password may be hard to remember but don’t worry, once they are inside their account they can change that password to anything they would like!

What do my additional users have access to?

For the most part, any users you add to your TaxBandits account will have the same account access as you! This means that these users can edit, manage, create, and submit form W-2 returns to the IRS on your behalf (look at all these assistants that you didn’t know you had!)

Wait, how do I know what they are doing in the account?

Don’t panic, you will have full access to monitor the activity within your TaxBandits account at all times. With the Activity Log, you can track all the actions taken in the account including when something happened and by who.
